Invisible Illness - First thing that springs to mind for most people

OH IT DOES NOT EXIST !!

But it does - All too well -
and if you think it doesn't - then -

YOUR FIT N HEALTHY  - MANY CONGRATULATIONS !

I can only go on MY OWN PERSONNEL EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

Patients with pituitary diseases/illnesses experience many emotional problems,

including ( but not limited to )
depression,
anxiety,
behavioural disturbances,
and personality changes,

These on there own can be life changing



I have - Myself - Been Diagnosed with BPD ( Borderline Personality Disorder ) - DPD - ( Duel Personality Disorder ) - PTSD ( Post Traumatic Stress Disorder ) - Acute Anxiety , and often feel surges of emotion that i know are 'NOT ME' !
I can have a mixture of feelings all within a few hours - from Jubilant / Playful / Happy / Fun /  Angry / Aggressive / Teary / Low / Worthless and Suicidal - yes - all within an hour !! So - Being totally at ease with who i am - Helps ME to combat the HUGE Distress this causes - I am able to Bounce back - far far quicker - Than if i was NOT totally relaxed with my illness ...

I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER IT - SO I SHALL NOT BEAT MYSELF UP ABOUT IT

Many patients with pituitary disease have been treated for depression and showed little response to the treatment because - They are actually not depressed - just showing the signs !
As said in blogs before - it really is a very complex illness !

But - That Lil lot is getting a tad heavy - and i wanted to be 'lighter' on this blog - and try to be HELPFUL !!

LIFTING THE MOOD - WHAT TO DO !

And THAT'S free !! - Totally.. It costs nothing to ' Have a laugh '

People are screaming at me now -
If your watching TV - You Pay TV Licence
If your out - you are having a drink - that's costing money

There are endless EXCUSES - but - Laughing IS FREE

LAUGH AT MEMORIES
LAUGH AT SILLY SONGS
LAUGH AT ANIMALS
LAUGH AT KIDS
LAUGH ( with ) LOVED ONES ! - ( NEVER AT !! )
LAUGH AT A REMEMBERED TV PROGRAMME

SO MANY THINGS CAN KICK START A GOOD LAUGHING SESH

and once you do THAT

your whole world and whole aura will change -

you will instantly become more positive - your head will clear ....
You will be able to get on with what you want AND NEED to get on with -

and

do you know what

You will feel good about it !!


Mmmmm - another way to Feel Instantly better ....

Ever heard of the SMILE MASK ?

Smile Mask. Inhale as you put a smile mask on. Exhale as you take it off and relax.

Ohhhh Shush and just TRY IT !!!

Repeat this one, two, three, four, five ten times - It relaxes and creates positive flow of energy -

Ohhhh god all that namby pamby stuff - She's started - WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH !

BUT - IT SO WORKS - IT REALLY DOES !!! GIVE IT A GO

Another way to 'TRY' to get you back on the right side of 'happy' -

Conditional training: Laugh every time you take a shower, or open the door of your car, fridge, bedroom…

It's a bit like the Pavlov Dogs - It's conditioning your brain to be joyous upon receipt of certain stimuli !! -

OMG - DID YOU SEE THAT - DID YOU SEE -
I WENT BACK TO MY PSYCHOLOGY TRAINING THEN -
OMG - I REMEMBERED -

and now - I'M SMILING - cause i remembered - Something i don't do often - Brain Tumours tend to do that - They take your memories - - But - once in a while - a Lil bit will creep through !

Mmmmm - OK - so Laugh and smile - GOOD - That's gonna help - Now -

How to stay Happier for longer -

(  If you have a 'invisible illness'  the LOWS will come - and there is nothing you can do to stop it -
But - there are things you can put in place to 'help )

There are a few thing's i do - That REALLY have made a HUGE difference to me - and how
I COPE with being in - what actually - is a REALLY SHITTY SITUATION !!!
( My Pavlov Stimuli Worked here as - i actually laughed out loud then !! - and actually felt a little 'lift' !! - IT REALLY DOES WORK ! )

PUT INTO PLACE WHEN OK - AS YOU JUST WON'T WHEN YOU ARE DOWN -
Nothing can stop that feeling ....

so try :

ACCEPTANCE - ( FFS - You have NOT brought this on yourself - so be at peace - You are Ill - so do all you can to be the best you can be - however that manifests itself )  Accept you are ill - and when 'ill' - just go with it - EVENTUALLY you will come through -

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF - You have no control over your illness - but you do have control over your self worth - so - I chose to

BE CONFIDENT
( If you knew me before Diagnosis - I was VERY SHY and would never say boo to a goose - SERIOUSLY ! )
I main way i do this is to love myself - - I look people in the eye when i talk to them - I hold myself tall - ( yes yes - all 5ft6! of me ! ) and above everything I SMILE !!!!
I 'like' the person i have become since i was diagnosed - I am a lot more Open and Honest and Motivated to help others - I'm Fun and I do try to find the Positive in the Negative .. it all goes towards being far more confident -
Why don't you go the extra mile and style your hair, give yourself a clean shave, and dress AS YOU WANT - Creating your own Style if THAT is what makes YOU feel happy ! Not only will this make you feel better about yourself, but others are more likely to perceive you as successful and self-confident as well.

HELP TO POSITIVELY IMPACT ON OTHERS - - Now - I know this all seems very self gratifying - but - seriously - this has helped my self and my confidence no end - Through my You Tube Channel ( Abigail Barry BBW ) and my Blogs, Twitter ( Abigailbarry1 ) and Instagram ( Abigail007bbw )
I am VERY Keen on Body Confidence - and seriously feel No-body should be made to feel - a lesser person - because of their dress size - However they happened to put on weight - So - I show people that FAT IS SEXY !! It just needs Confidence and Positivity !!



STAY AWAY FROM NEGATIVITY - weather it is on the Internet - or from friends or - even from Family - YOU DON'T NEED THE STRESS - and sometimes - it is better to cut and run - than put up with the comments and hostility ..  It might not be nice - BUT - in the long run - you WILL feel better - It will enable you to better manage your own insecurities and help you too look forward rather than keep trying to conquer the impossible

A lil reminder would not go amiss either - just put it on the fridge - or somewhere you will look - and When need be - LOOK AT IT - and this may well give you the jolt you need to bring you back !!
If you feel your self-confidence dwindling, take a look at those lists and let yourself feel and be inspired all over again.
